Socialism Vs. Freedom
Today I’d like to address my opinion on socialism. I don’t like it. That’s the plain and simple. Now let me elaborate. I don’t believe that the financial elite should have as much power as they do. But at the same time I believe that pure capitalism is the best form of economy. My proposed solution? Make laws that block large corporations from being able to lobby in the government. I believe this would disallow the corporations from gaining political influence and prevent them from becoming to powerful. Corporations should make money and governments should govern, but the two shouldn’t mix. I’m going to end this post with a question mark just so I can leave it open for discussion?
Disturbing Proof of Police Brutality
A few hours ago I made a post about police brutality at the occupy protests and ended it with a question. One of the answers to the question was that I should show some footage of this police brutality so I quickly just grabbed the first video on youtube that came up from “police brutality occupy”. WARNING: this content may be slightly disturbing to some people, it shows police beating protesters with nightsticks, just be aware of that before you start the video.
Police Brutality at Occupy Protests
Recently I’ve been seeing tons of videos that show police officers being far to violent with crowds of occupy protesters. It’s disturbing to see a crowd gathered in peace suddenly be charged by police with people screaming and being knocked about. I saw one video where after tear gas was used, the crowd (still peaceful) started chanting “We’re still here”. Then one of the police officers shoots a man in the face with a shotgun shell of rubber bullets from no more than five feet away. This kind of police brutality cannot be accepted. The government needs to step in, but will they? And if so what will move them to action?
EDIT: In response to grumpy jones I quickly just grabbed the first video on youtube that came up from “police brutality occupy”. WARNING: this content may be slightly disturbing to some people, it shows police beating protesters with nightsticks, just be aware of that before you start the video.
Let’s Talk About the Future
On Saturday I talked about REX 84. Well the lasting effect of that was today we have dozens of concentration camps designed to hold US citizens. They’re run by FEMA and intended for use in marshal law. This isn’t the first time though, as on Saturday I showed how during WW2 similar camps were used to hold Japanese Americans. The picture above shows coffins that are also owned by FEMA. There are sights all over the country with these coffins stacked 15 high covering approximately 1100 acres. Something strange is being planned, I have no idea what it is, and it scares me. We need more government transparency, otherwise we’ll end up in a police state. Let’s Talk About History
Let’s talk a little but about rough times in American history, then on Monday I’ll connect what I’m saying today to how it connects to us now. First, let’s talk about internment camps. During World War 2 immediately after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor all Japanese Americans were told to report to internment camps. These camps were essentially concentration camps without the killing furnaces. The conditions were poor and illness was common. These were destroyed after the war and all the people held within were released. The other thing I wanted to talk about was called REX 84. REX 84 stands for Readiness Exercise of 1984. This was a National Guard drill that simulated an event where similar forms of internment camps would be set up on short notice all across the country to hold US citizens. These may seem like 2 random points but I’ll connect them to what’s going on now on Monday. If you want to learn more about politics, internet censorship, and hacking, please follow this blog.
